Your thoughts about this video

Prosser H. Picot (USA)
Another great (truly great) video from Arwen. The synopsis is off, it is Arwen's mom who is letting go, not Arwen. The most poignant moment is when Arwen's mom describes the sadness, and Arwen says, "But it's normal, isn't it?" As Arwen knows, and will surely face too much of in the future, there can be a lot of sadness in what is "normal". A child leaving home is normal, but a milestone to parents who are starting to count them. As always, Arwen's videos have a lot of great content, and strong feeling of reality. She makes it look so easy, but (if you have seen any others) you know it is not. Missing here is Arwen's face, but she is so good with both it and her camera, we will see more of her in the future. This is a good place to start, but see them all. Christmas and Prom night are great. It is easy to see that Arwen's gentleness and openness are a family trait. This whole series would be worthwhile for just the Arwen videos. Get out and record your family; it will mean everything in twenty years. The best things in life include family, and you can make it work.
