FAST By Anwari Din In her Glasgow mosque, Anwari teaches a class of girls about why they fast during Ramadan. Through the act of fasting together, the Muslim communjity becomes especially close, and when girls as young as six or eight want to fast, there's a real sense of family. That's why she looks forward to this festival.
