COMPETITIONS
By Joanne Miller
Joanne looks through the papers. She's sick and tired of seeing huge sums offered in competitions and prizes - even the bingo's worth £26,000. How can they afford these huge sums? Then there's the lottery - the government's trying to make us live in pipe dreams. The papers are giving away £100,000 and more each week - why don't they use some of that money to do something useful. She'd know what to do with it.
