CASTLE By John Macleod John, who is chief of the Macleod clan, stands on the roof of Dunvegan castle on the isle of Skye and surveys the countryside. It's extraordinary to know a place so well - it's extravagantly beautiful. But he is also extremely anxious about the cost of maintaining the castle. It could ruin him to mend the leaking roof. Pat Terry My wife and I recently returned from Skye, where we visited Dunvegan Castle. The setting, and indeed the castle itself is so beautiful, just as John Macleod says in this video. Such unspoiled beauty feeds the soul.
