CARNIVAL

Connie has a day out at the Notting Hill Carnival, the biggest in Europe. She's from Jamaica, where they didn't have carnival until recently - it came from Trinidad. She joins the dancing and parading in the streets, watches the floats, eats and drinks and meets friends. She thinks the local residents are very tolerant, and that the police are keeping a low profile. She's having a very good time.
