CANOE

Twelve year-old Hero is on holiday on the Isle of Mull. She is profoundly disabled and her words are spoken by her mother. She leaves her wheelchair to go canoeing for the first time in her life and experiences everything intensely: the closeness to the water, the seals, the coastline. It has been the best day of her life.
