BARBUDA By Ivan Perreira There are over 1,500 inhabitants on the island of Barbuda. They all have tribal status. Ivan describes their desire to keep the island as it is, unspoilt, and their distrust of the Antiguans who they believe want to enslave the Barbudans and develop their island. It is their duty to preserve the island for future generations.
