FIRST JOB

Mark is 16 and has just finished his exams. He hasn't always been a big fan of school. Indeed, much of the time he wasn't there... However, Mark's hard work and the assistance of the Futures project at Blyth Community College has now led to a permanent job. He is enjoying earning a wage and is currently saving for his first holiday abroad.

Mark is relaxed in the video. He's good looking and can enjoy himself knowing his exams are finished, because that is what I am doing. Keep up the hard work. Joanne
It's really good that Mark has found a job. I bet it's made a big difference to him and his family. He looks really happy in the film. With all the pressure on schools to get good exam results, people like Mark can often be written off. But he's proved you can achieve things. Well done Mark - hope you continue to enjoy your job. |
