Your thoughts about this video

Sue Cole
Thank you for your comments, I am sick of hearing these poor people denigrated by ignorant, smug and uncaring Brits. I am ashamed. The media must take some reposibility for this state of affairs along with politicians.

Florian Miletits
I think that the rhetoric about asylum seekers is getting out of hand but imagine you are an asylum seeker. You would be happy to come to a country where you get a job and where there is no war. Imagine your kids go to school in the morning and never come home. Furthermore it has also good sides. The birth rate is rising and the wheels of industry keep turning.

John May
We have had waves of immigrants since the dawn of history and as a society we seem to have reacted the same way. We don't seem to learn from past experiences. We fear them, we demonise them, we are ungenerous. At least we don't slaughter them as we have done in the past. Although some sections of society would like to {encouraged by some sections of the popular press.} We dont seem to apreciate that in the past each wave of immigrants has contributed far more to our society than they have taken. In 20 years time with the falling birth rate we will be desperate for young people to keep the wheels of our industry turning to support the aging population and as far as I can see the majority of the immigrants seem to be healthy enterprising young people. I can see the day when most of Europe will be fighting to attract young people.

Sean Flanagan
I agree with Jack that the rhetoric about asylum-seekers has gone too far and they are being made scapegoats by the tabloids and far-right political parties for everything that goes wrong in this country. We don't know what's happening in their own countries, which is all the more reason not to judge them.

David Moore
After watching "You the judge" on BBC1 I feel ashamed af my fellow Britons. I now more readily believe that we are not tolerant or understanding of other misery. You see the evidence how Nazi ideas can take hold of a nation and evil deed can happen to an uncaring people. Civilization will take longer than I thought to improve.

Kayvan Hashemi
Oh god, someone says what I want to scream.
