ESSENTIAL By Denis Bundy Denis considers himself fortunate to have been laid up in bed with a bad back condition during the war. The thing that has made him really angry is the "do-gooders" - the peace protesters - who he considers naive. Denis believes this was a justified war, and he admires Tony Blair for his consistency despite not being a socialist himself. He also admires the "rather strange American", George Bush. In the end there was no choice - this war was essential, as shown by the pictures of Iraqis beating Saddam's statue with their slipper...
