LEAVING JAMAICA
By Claudette Cooper
Claudette came to the UK 30 years ago from Jamaica when she was only 13-years-old. She had to move halfway across the world to live with her mother who she hadn't seen since she was a small child. Claudette tells us about her first memories of arriving in an unknown country, not knowing what to expect, and her excitement of seeing snow for the very first time.
