Marianne worries about the effect of war on children
WATCH THIS VIDEO

IN A SPIN
By Marianne Molyneux
Marianne thinks that if we go to war, our society will lose it's innocence evern more. If we go to war she won't feel able to let her children out to play in public places. What happens if there's an attack in Oxfordshire? She wouldn't know what to do - she doesn't even know if there's a shelter. There's a real lack of information about what to do in the event of an attack.

Your thoughts about this video

Richard Clayton
I have just watched this video live on BBC Four (8.30pm 14/03/2003), and it saddens me greatly that someone can really think like this. Saddam Hussein is an evil dictator, an evil man of the worse kind. Unspeakable things happen in Iraq on a daily basis. Normal Iraqis live in fear...real fear. This lady really has more chance of winning the major prize of the national lotto, than her children being victims of a terrorist attack. Terrorism is the systematic use of fear as a weapon. It appears that she has already become a victim.
