BEES
By Craig Treeby
Craig has been really looking forward to collecting his first batch of honey this year from his new beehive - but has to make sure that he's well protected for the job first. So on the first really warm day of the year - he dons his veil and white suit to see if the bees have been busy.

thanks for that excellent view of your honey selecting. I did not realise that bees sometimes are trapped. Is this usual or do you manage to miss them once you are more expert?

Why does smoke calm the bees? I would have thought it would scare them into leaving for self-preservation

This video was great! I showed it to my class when we read a story about how bees make honey. The video helped them get a mental picture for all that they were reading about.Keep upthe great work!
