GLUED TO THE TV

Tahira thinks that the media are picking on things that "work" - things that keep people glued to their TVs to find out more about the war in Iraq. You don't hear about Osama Bin Laden, the Taleban or Afghanistan any more because they've "done that". You need the media to pick on all aspects of the war, not just the positive aspects. For example, where are the weapons of mass destruction...?
