JOYRIDERS By Nigel Jones Nigel was changing one Friday night when he heard some cars racing up and down his road. He looked out the window, and one of the cars crashed into his neighbour's car, which crashed into two other cars. The "scum" inside did what the police told him was a "starburst manoeuvre", where the doors flew open and "the rats left the sinking ship". The police have seemed noncommital - perhaps through pressure of work. Nigel's moving out of the area, and this is one of the reasons.
