FACTORY By Liz Freer Liz works as an overlocker in the garment industry. People may turn their noses up at factory work, but she much prefers it to other jobs she's done. She and the other girls at the factory have a laugh and celebrate each other's birthdays and anniversaries. She wouldn't swap it for anything else. She and her friends take a break in the sunshine, whistling at the men going by.
