BIRD SONG ON THE MERE By Andy Wooldridge and Victoria Guinan Andy got lucky when he got up at quarter to five to record the birds starting their day at Martin Mere in Lancashire. He caught a greater woodpecker drumming on a telegraph pole and a gold finch chirping good morning.
