HEDGES By Terry McWilliams Terry and his family have just moved over from the United States. He loves driving his family round the county but hasn't managed to see very much of it because of all the hedges. How does anyone really know that Kent is the Garden of England? Your thoughts about this video

| 58 million people in an area the size of Florida. Probably just hiding from everyone. Here in Kissimmee we see lots of English tourists. They often comment on how open and friendly Florida seems, while I find it not nearly as friendly as where I come from in Indiana. Now I partially understand. Thanks Terry. Tim Terry is puzzled as to how we hide things here in England behind tall hedges. I am staggered at this statement. All he has to do is to log on to Google earth (a product of Uncle Sam's) and nothing is hidden from the Pentagon's Spys In The Sky in any part of the world let alone a hurd of cows or field of Potatoes that he appears to have a phobia over. Peter Devine I found this video facinating. I was unaware of this part of British culture. Hedges in the US are realy pretty rare. Mostly you might find them around a home in town, but rarely ever in the country side along the roads and such. Perhaps Brits value their privacy more than Americans do. Facinating just the same.
