Your thoughts about this video

| M Chabot The hills look beautiful. Sam What is said here is important, not only for Malvern, but for nearly all the rural towns up and down the country. Almost all of them are turning into replicas of each other with the same branded, corporate shop fronts in every high street. The "personality" is disappearing. In particular, the most threatened species on the high street seem to be butchers, bakers and green grocers. Maybe out of town supermarkets are to blame - but I am not so sure. Why is it in France that there are still family run shops AND out of town HYPER-markets?? Aldemir Biral I saw your video in Brazil and liked it very much. M Williamson Having lived in Malvern for 5 years the vision of Malvern depicted in the video is sad. When I was in the area, yes, there were small chain stores and many charity shops, but looking at the high street in the video it seems dead. The Malvern I knew was vibrant and attractive to visitors. Lets face it, whilst the Festival Theatre has its attractions (I'm a fan!) Malvern's overwhelming asset is obviously the Hills. Please someone video the pleasures of walking the hills as Ian Fernside's video doesn't do the area justice! |
