3 stone is brilliant, I hope now you are seeing the results. One things I'd like to ask is how does it feel when you're eating? Do you still enjoy your food? Don't give up... you seem real nice,
Jun Ma
Great, Jackie don't give up!

Jackie, don't lose heart. I know this is time consuming. But in the end you will be successful. Do lots of exercising with the advice of your Doctor. Be moderate in your food. I am sure you will be fit within no time. Regards
Caroline
Does anyone think that everyone should see a dietitian or nutritionist every six months (just like we see a dentist), to check on our nutritional health and prevent weight loss before it is too late?
Jackie: All the best for the future, and keep motivated after your operation!

It was very interesting to get under the skin of Jackie. Her determination to lose weight was really appealing to her audience. Would love to see how Jackie gets on in the next few months, good luck!

I wish you all the best Jackie for 2004. It will take time but you know it will be worth it in the end. Think about all the new clothes you will be able to buy and wear and the confidence you will have. You will have a new lease of life and more energy to do the things you always wanted to do.
Tony
Good luck Jackie, 3 stones is an achievement in itself. You will have bad days but I hope you will be focused enough to let all those dreams and ambitions that you have to spur you on. Looking forward to seeing another video of you next year with you riding a horse!

I feel this was an interestig video clip because instead of the atitudes you would normally hear from passers by or people you're with when someone is extremely overweight, you get a chance to hear and understand what it must be like for the person that is so often made fun of.
Michael Baker
Jackie, eat less and exercise and you will lose weight
Becki
I know what it feels like so don't worry about it.
Adrian Newbery
Just wanted to say good luck Jackie, I admire your courage and detirmination to take action to change your situation! I wish you well and trust things will work out for you.

Good luck, Jackie! I'm curious as to what you think is at the root of your obesity: was it wrong diet in childhood causing bad patterns later on? Difficulty resisting calorie-laden food coupled with a sedentary job/lifestyle? A metabolic illness? A combination of these and/or other factors? Whatever, I'm glad you've found a cure. Obesity is physically and socially crippling and people who suffer from it need treatment just as desperately as anyone else with a chronic, life threatening illness. I'm also curious as to how the operation has affected you. Do you still eat the same things you ate before, just in smaller amounts? Does it make you feel full up very quickly? Is it frustrating, not being able to eat as much as you used to? Please make another video one day - of you buying clothes from Next - on a horse! Jackie
