I think smoking is disgusting and makes people look so common. After finding out the effects it has on the body i cant even bring my self to touch one! whats the point? your just throwing your life away...

i am 14 and have tried smoking. i didn't do it because my mates were doing it! i did it to see what it was like. i didn't carry on so it didn't make me addicted. i have friends who smoke and they stink. i also have mates who smoke and have athsma, not a good combo!! i am 14 and i smoke and, no offence to quiters but i love it, it makes me happy, and i'm not doing it to impress anyone, i do it because its nice. But i want to say everyone out there who are trying to give up, dont stop if its what you want, im sure one day i will, but for now i want to carry on, i think the video was great, i'm sure you have helped lots of people to think and thats brilliant, dont give up giving up.

i didnt watch the film on smoking, as when i started to smoke i was only 9. i believe that smoking is a very bad habit but it is also very hard to overcome the habit when you have done it for so long. i am now 18 and i am trying very hard to quit. i have just lost my nana through lung cancer caused by smoking and believe that now i should stop. it is hard but if you want to and have the willpower then everyone and anyone can do it. you just have to believe in yourself!!!

I am 14 and av smoked since i wer 11 and da video is true, smoking is a loada rubbish and makes u smel skanky and feel horrible all da time, i didnt smoke to look kool tho id say that the one of the main reasons teens smoke is becoz its a social thing and if ya mate has one you have one. Also, it keeps u occupied and i wanna giv it up but i cnt coz all ma mates smoke!

hi! you know the solution to your problem is yourself,i mean when you took up smoking you did it by yourself and it was only up to you,i mean you did it just by your own will,you were not forced to do it.so the best way to give up smoking is to decide not to smoke anymore.i know it is not easy,but with time you will succeed to do it. good luck

I've never smoked and am sure I never will I've got one friend who does and shes hooked on them I've tried for agers to get her of them but theres no use. In my community there has never been pressure on me to smoke, quite the oppisite people tease each other if they do smoke saying they stink and its dirty. I've never felt the need of smoking and it never suits girls to have a ciggi in there mouth.

I am 15 years old, and have been addictied to cigeraettes since I was 12, I attended a Smoking Club and stuck to that for 2 years. I am now 15 years old, and I still not to this had a fag till this day! I wish Cherelle and Roseanne all the best!

Excellent attitude from two 13 year olds. I started smoking at 16 and stopped at 25...I am 43,tough at first, but what a relief and so healthy not to smoke. I still like the smell of cigarette smoke and the smell of them when they are unlit. I tried taking a puff last year after a couple of pints and it was REVOLTING...never again. Exercise, and keep busy...avoid hanging around doing nothing
