JUST SIX By Winnie Sevier 90 years on since the First World War began Winnie recalls what life in St Ives was like at the time. She was just six when her father was sent away to mine tin in Australia to help with the war efforts in 1914 - he was away for three years. Winnie also remembers there was a flu epidemic at the time and thousands of people died.
