Take the online tour

BBC Tyne take you on a tour around the largest wooden ship in the world. So come on board and take a look around the good ship 'Tenacious'.

Finished in September 2000, after four years in the making, the 'Tenacious' was one of the many magnificent vessels to line up on the banks of the Tyne during the Tall Ships' Races 2005.

BBC Tyne have teamed up with the good people from 'Tenacious' to give you a glimpse into what it's like on board the largest wooden ship of its kind in the world.

So if you've missed out on the Tall Ships' Races this year, or not had the chance to take a look on board one of these mighty vessels, then take a look around the tall ship 'Tenacious', using our online tour:

So how does it work?

  • Click on the tall ship button below, and you will see a plan of the ship.
  • Simply click on the shaded areas to see what that part of the ship looks like.
  • Click anywhere on the picture to return to the tall ship plan.
