Pans are smooth, shiny and cool to touch - great for little fingers to explore. Your baby is finding out how things feel different. Say the word "pan" as you play, your baby will link the word to the object.
Bang pans together and let your baby hit the pan with a spoon. Your baby is discovering that hitting the pan can make a sound. Say, "Bang-bang!" or, "Crash!" as you and your baby make some noise. Your baby will link the excitement of the action with the words - learning that language and words are fun!
