How do I register to use the messageboard?
The BBC Tees messageboard is part of the wider BBC England board, which in turn is part of the BBCi messageboards community - Europe's largest, don't you know! To use any BBCi messageboard, you need to register.

First, read the BBC Terms and Conditions, House Rules and Privacy Policy. You can find them on this page. Click the 'I Accept' button to continue with your registration once you've read them.
You'll then be asked fill in your first and last names which will be displayed on the messageboard when you make a post.  | Enter your name and e-mail address and then a login name... |
You must then think up a login name and password. This can be anything you like and won't appear on the messageboard. You'll also need a valid e-mail address as we'll send you an e-mail to confirm your registration. This also won't appear on the messageboard. Reply to the e-mail we'll send you simply by clicking reply.

You're now registered, so you can visit the BBC Tees messageboard and login. Enter your login name and password and click login. Congratulations - you're logged into our messageboard system.

To start a new topic, click the "Start New Discussion" button at the top of the page. Please make sure your discussion isn't already covered in a thread elsewhere on the messageboard before starting a new discussion! To reply to an existing topic, click on the topic title and then click the reply text next to the comment you wish to respond to. If we reject a comment, we'll drop you an e-mail telling you why and if you notice something you think shouldn't be there, click "Alert A Moderator". Our board is open from 0900 to 2200, Monday to Friday and 1000 to 2200 at weekends. Overnight messages are stored and then posted next day. Watch out for your hosts responding to your comments and suggesting new discussions. Happy messageboarding! |
