Rules for submitting your creative responses

We would like teachers and home educators to send us photographs and videos of their pupils' creative responses to any of the pieces in the Ten Pieces repertoire.

Responses can be by primary and secondary school pupils and in any art form.

Use the checklist below to make sure you're on the right track before submitting your creative response:

  • In order to submit a video featuring children to the BBC you must have secured permission from the parent/legal guardian of any child that features in your recording. For further information, please read the BBC’s Terms of Use and the Ten Pieces Privacy Notice.

  • If you are submitting a creative response it must be an original response to one of the pieces from the Ten Pieces repertoire and can be in any art form.

  • Your submission must not include any copyright material (e.g. commercially available music, stock stills or footage).

  • If using music from one of Ten Pieces, you must use the recordings we have made available and NOT an alternative commercially available recording.

  • Content must be uploaded by adults (submissions from children will not be accepted).

  • No names of children (either spoken or as text, for example in end credits).

  • No advertising or product placement.

  • No nudity.

  • No swearing.
