Male in green shirt: She, he, it, we, they, us, our.
Female in red cardigan: Pronouns is when you're talking about someone but not using their name like 'I' or 'you'.
Male in green shirt: We use pronouns all the time.
It's in place of another noun.
We use it, like in this room now we've mentioned [Indistinct] maybe one time and if we were continuing to talk about [Indistinct] we'd say 'she.'
Male with glasses and tie: We have to use all these pronouns.
The accident reports that we have to fill out, if we're writing a report out and we have witnesses, we have to write the witness's name, address, you know telephone number if they've got it.
And then when you mention that person first in the report then you refer to her as 'she' or if it's a bloke 'he.'
And we have to keep doing that, just repeating that "she said such a thing" and "she saw this" and you know, "she was on my side."
Ha, thankfully [Laughs].
Pronouns are short words like, 'it', 'she', 'he', 'you', 'we', 'they', 'us' and 'them'. They are used to describe either individual or groups of people, rather than using their name or names.
