Female nurse: You normally take a temperature of someone when they have a fever, infection.
Male nurse: An average person's temperature would be about 37 degrees Centigrade.
Chef: It is important to reach the proper temperature of the oven and here we're cooking some pasties, to reach the 180 degrees Celsius.
If this is too hot, we might burn the pastry or if this is too low, we might not cook the pastry properly.
Another temperature is, this walk in fridge needs to be between one and five degrees Celsius, so the food, it doesn't go off.
IT male: You can hear the air conditioning in here because we have to keep the servers very cool.
Not only do they run better when they're cold but actually if they overheat, if they get beyond about 40 degrees, they stop working.
They actually shut themselves down because they will eventually blow up.
So if even one of these servers go down, potentially hundreds of customers can't work.
Temperature is a measure of how hot something is. Water freezes at 0°C (degrees Celsius) and boils at 100°C. Your blood is usually 37°C.
