3: The Hare and the Tortoise
Synopsis
All the animals are fed up with Hare’s boasting about how fast he can run. To prove his point Hare challenges them all to a race but only Tortoise - the slowest animal - agrees to take up the challenge. Tortoise undergoes some extensive training…but he doesn’t get any faster.
On the day of the race crowds turn up to watch. Hare is so confident of victory that he lies down in the sun and has a little sleep. Unfortunately for him he sleeps a little too long…and he wakes up to see Tortoise crossing the finishing line…
