Synopsis
Grace looks out of her lighthouse window early one morning and can see some survivors clinging to Great Harcar Rock following the wreck of the SS Forfarshire. Grace and her father row to the rock and Grace holds the boat steady in stormy seas while her father helps the survivors on board.
The rescue is national news and Grace becomes a celebrity - she even receives a reward from Queen Victoria herself. But Grace's life is to be a short one…
