According to the UN, each person, on average, wastes 120kg of food each year - which is around the same weight as a baby elephant!
But with hunger and food insecurity still posing huge problems across the globe, it's vital that we all do our bit to reduce the level of waste produced each year.
With this in mind, we teamed up with some famous faces to create these challenges, which will help educate pupils on the importance of recycling and preventing waste in a fun and engaging way.
These challenges tie in with the UN Sustainable Development Goal number 12: Responsible consumption and production.
