Teacher Notes

Whilst the use of a traditional pole lathe gives a fascinating insight into the early craft of wood turning, it also gives inspiration to pupils using a modern lathe available in most woodwork departments.

This clip will be relevant for teaching art and design at KS3 and GCSE in England, Wales and Northern Ireland and National 4 and 5 in Scotland.
