A green wall with a small piece of blue tac on it next to a large window

Tac by Imogen C.

Tac lived on the wall in the school canteen. Tac was a little blob of Blu-Tac. Tac was bored on the wall as he watched all the people living their lives and having fun. One day Tac saw a little girl who needed a fork, there were none left in the cutlery tray. Tac decided he could help and quickly turned himself into a little sharp fork and threw himself on the table for the girl to find. When the girl was finished eating, Tac decided to go to the beach. At the beach Tac saw two little boys. One said "I wish we had a ball to play with", so Tac rolled himself up into a round bouncy ball and rolled his way over to the boys. When the boys had finished playing, Tac decided to go to the theatre.Backstage at the theatre, the actor playing the knight was running around shouting "Where's my sword? Where's my sword?" Tac realised he could help and so he turned himself into a long, pointy sword. The knight took Tac on stage with him to do his show. After the knight had taken his bow, Tac left the theatre.Down the street he heard a voice coming from a house nearby. It said "Oh No, I don't have a fancy dress costume, so I can't go to the party today!" Tac thought a party sounded like fun so made himself into a tight stretchy Spiderman costume for the boy to wear. Tac had a great time at the party but he had had a busy day and was starting to feel tired. Tac yawned. He decided it might be time to go home.On the street he heard a baby crying loudly. He turned around to see two babies in a pram and one of them was very upset. The other baby had taken her butterfly toy. Tac quickly changed his shape into a matching butterfly and jumped into the girl's pram. When the girl was asleep Tac jumped back down and carried on his journey home.Back at school, he walked past a classroom where he heard a boy say "I can't find my pencil". Tac felt very tired but thought he could help one more person today. He changed into a thin, stripey pencil and rolled under the boy's chair. When the bell rang for playtime and the children went outside Tac scurried off back to the canteen and found his place back on the wall. He'd had a wonderful day and enjoyed helping people. Tac thought he might help some more people tomorrow.
