Pony with a Coat on - Solving Crimes by Clara W.

Once upon a saddle there was a little pony called Sparkle Toes IV - but all of his friends called him Darren. Darren woke up and went to the river for a wash. When he came back he had a parcel from his Great Uncle Roger. It was a coat! The coat was a very powerful coat, it gave him the power to solve crimes and mysteries. When he put the coat on - he was no longer Darren - he was:

PONY WITH A COAT ON, SOLVING CRIMES!

One day Darren woke up to find some sheep had appeared overnight in the next field. Suddenly Ruffles the terrier arrived upset - he said "Woof! My owner's jewellery has been stolen and all I saw was 13 sets of foot prints… We need someone to help… but who?"Darren disappeared behind a tree and became - PONY WITH A COAT ON, SOLVING CRIMES!

Pony began to investigate, he knew someone who knew everyone - Pamala the Pigeon. Pamela said - "Last night I saw something strange, I saw some bushes moving about near Ruffles house and near the field next to Darren's!" "Can bushes steal jewellery" Ruffles said. "I don't know, but I do know someone who might" Pony replied.Pony, Ruffles and Pamala headed to the Bull field to speak to Bilal the Bull because he was very wise. Pony explained: "These two animals have come to me with a great mystery, Ruffles has had some jewels stolen and Pamala has seen bushes walk… What do you think?""Hmmmmmm" pondered Bilal, "Interesting, but does a bush leave fur behind?""We need a fur expert, declared Pony, let's find Reggie Wren". Reggie lived at the top of an old Oak tree. The gang had to shout to him - "REEEEEEGGGGGGIIIEEEE!"

Reggie flew down - "What's up guys?" he said. Pony Speedily brought him up to date:"Pamala saw some bushes walk and Bilal found some fur, Ruffles has lost some jewels - can you help?""Well, that's not fur, that's wool!" Reggie explained. "I KNOW WHO HAS THE JEWELS! Pony said excitedly. Quick, to the top field!"In the top field the sheep were lazily eating grass. Pony shouted - "HEY! I know you took my friend's jewels!" One sheep with an eye patch and mohawk turned and said, "We are not just Sheep, we are Ba-Ba-Bad Sheep." Pony said - "you are going to prison." Suddenly the Ba-Ba-Bad Sheep ran through an open gate - "You can't catch us" they Baaaad together. But Pony and his powerful coat stopped them - "NET" he shouted and a net shot out and caught them. With the sheep inside the net, in the distance, sirens could be heard.The Puuurlice arrived - Detective Mavis the Puuurlice cat said - " you sheep are going to prison, give Ruffles his Jewels back and say sorry." The sheep did as they were told.

Everyone went home and Pony smiled, "Remember, if you have a mystery that needs solving, maybe you should call - PONY WITH A COAT ON, SOLVING CRIMES!
