Broomstick and Wigwam: The Great Cheese Rescue by Meredith H.##

Queen Millie was sitting on her throne, planning her big garden party. She was especially excited about the cheese-cheddar, edam, wensleydale, and a Lancashire crumbly. But just then, she noticed something shocking: a little furry creature munching on her precious cheese! "MOUSE!" she shouted. "Guards! Fetch the royal cat!"

In no time, Boo-Boo, the palace cat, arrived. Known for being a fearless mouse chaser, Boo-Boo spotted the intruder and leapt into action. The mouse froze for a split second, then darted under a door, with Boo-Boo chasing after it. Down the hallway, Boo-Boo saw the mouse hiding in a big box on a table near the entrance. He jumped into the box, but the mouse wasn't there-it was just a toy!

Before Boo-Boo could jump back out, the lid slammed shut, trapping him inside. He felt the box sliding down a chute, landing with a thump in a trolley full of mail. A few minutes later, the palace mail was collected, and poor Boo-Boo tumbled into the back of a mail van, heading off to who-knows-where!

Back at the palace, Queen Millie wanted to reward Boo-Boo for scaring off the mouse, but he was missing. Worried, she ordered the guards to search everywhere. Meanwhile, a smart raven named Wigwam overheard the news. He belonged to a friendly witch and decided to help find Boo-Boo. Wigwam called on his best friend, Broomstick, the witch's clever cat.

Flying on the witch's broomstick, Wigwam and Broomstick zoomed into the palace through an open window. They quickly found out from the other mice that Boo-Boo was trapped in a box, being sent far away. Knowing they needed to act fast, they flew to Dover, just in time to see Boo-Boo's box about to be loaded onto a ship heading to Australia!

In a daring rescue, they snatched the box off the conveyor belt. With the witch's wand, Broomstick cast a spell, opening the box and setting Boo-Boo free. The three friends quickly hopped back on the broomstick and zoomed back to the palace.

When they got back, they found a disaster-since Boo-Boo was missing, hundreds of mice had swarmed the Queen's cheese room! Mice were everywhere, getting ready to devour the Queen's favorite cheeses. But as soon as Boo-Boo, Wigwam, and Broomstick burst in, the mice scattered in every direction. Boo-Boo cornered the leader and warned him to stay away from the palace forever.

Queen Millie rushed in, relieved to see Boo-Boo safe and her cheese unharmed. She scooped him up in a big hug, then thanked Wigwam and Broomstick for their bravery. During the garden party, the Queen made a special announcement, naming Boo-Boo, Wigwam, and Broomstick as the palace's official Cheese Protectors.

Now, with the palace safe once again, everyone wondered what exciting adventure might await the brave trio next!
