ReviewsYou are in: Suffolk > Entertainment > Theatre and Dance > Reviews > Warp Factor 69 ![]() David Badella as Frank N Furter Warp Factor 69By Norman Lloyd Rowdy, decadent, hilarious, crazy and that’s just the audience at the Ipswich Regent Theatre for Richard O’Brien's famous Rock ‘N’ Roll musical! Check out our audience photo gallery and send us more pictures: The near capacity opening night audience at this most famous of cult shows was really up for it and the cast responded big time. Ian Lavender slipped in and out of his narrator role to deliver some great one liners. ![]() Janet Weiss and Rocky In fact, when he first took to the stage, a wit in the audience shouted out “Don't tell him your name, Pike” to which Lavender came back with, ‘If you are going to quote, get it right!” Quick as you like, a gentleman sitting next to me, dressed in blonde wig, stockings etc shouted out, “Stupid boy!” in real Dad’s Army mode. I expected the show to appeal mostly to the over 40s but the audience was a real mix of ages from teenagers to people who should really know better! A fair proportion of the audience did dress up for the show and this does add to the whole Rocky Horror experience. ![]() 3 lovely ladies. Or men? There were many fine performances, but to highlight a few, Frank N Furter played by David Bedella made the most of his incredible voice and outrageously camp role and Rocky played by Sergio Priftis made the ladies swoon with his fantastic physique. Brad and Janet were made for each other and were played to a tee by Sarah Boulton and Richard Meek with superb comedy timing. We all tried to do the Time Warp dance at the end, but with the limited amount of space, I failed miserably! Perhaps it’s just as well, I never could remember dance steps so at least no-one could see me! Rocky Horror runs to Saturday 10th March 2007 with performances at 5.30 and 8.30.
