An original story about the struggle by traditional toys who are fighting back to stop a computer games company taking over Toyland. This is the 15th year the village has put on a pantomime and the event is the village's main fundraiser for the year. In 2006, it raised over £3000 for various village groups. This is an event not to be missed! It is produced entirely by the villagers, from the script and costumes to the scenery. Due to the ongoing restorations at the Georgian venue, the panto is being staged in a big top in Nowton Park. Incandescence will be incorporating circus skills such as fire-breathing into the show alongside traditional panto antics. Thurs 7th Dec-Sun 7th Jan. Tickets £5-£23 Box office 01284 769505. Nick will be playing the crucial role of Prince Charles the Camel Keeper. The panto runs from the Wednesday 10th January to Saturday 13th January, at 7.30pm.
