Ipswich Music Day 2006

The 15th Ipswich Music Day comes to Christchurch Park on the 2nd July 2006. The largest free one-day music event in East Anglia promises to be better than ever before.

The family day, which sees local musicians and performers giving something back to the community, has come a long way since it started.

Check out the BBC Radio Suffolk Stage for some of the brightest and the best musical acts on the local music scene including the Debs Warren Band and Fuzzface. Also performing are rhythm and blues band, Dr Feelgood.

Local acts will be playing on seven stages in the beautiful surroundings of Christchurch Park and in the neighbouring Key coffee shop. Covering everything from country to classical, reggae to rock, bluegrass and blues. It's well worth a visit, you might just hear something you never knew you loved.
