Gordon & Betty Moore Foundation 2

What indigenous knowledge can teach us about land stewardship in the Arctic

Paid and presented by the Gordon & Betty Moore Foundation

The second largest bay in the world connects many distinct Indigenous peoples and communities, including Fox Lake Cree Nation in northern Manitoba and Inuit from Nunavut's Kivalliq region. These resilient communities are sustained by the unique ecosystem of Hudson Bay, Canada, but they have watched their environments change drastically across generations. Discover how a youth exchange programme between these communities is helping them share their cultures and ways of land and water stewardship.
