Alena Compson
Through my observation of mundane moments in people's lives, I make unposed portraits of people. My work is concentrated in public spaces enabling the viewer to have the opportunity to look at the people around us and to see their behaviour. The unsuspecting people are the subjects of my engagement in social commentary. My interest is in documentary photography and I am hoping to become a press photographer.
