Jake is 12 years old and goes to Stafford Grammar School. He loves anything to do with cars and enjoys Quad Biking and Go Karting.
My story is about cars, I thought others might be interested in it! I want to be a Top Gear presenter when I grow up. I also love travelling and visiting other countries. I have been to about 40 countries so far!
I've got five years and one day ... until I can learn to drive, but that is half my life again, and I JUST CANT WAIT! My mum says that when I was three months old she bought me a tiny little car and ever since then I have had a fascination for them. My mum and dad used to laugh at me, as I could tell which car was which, just by looking at the wheel trims or brake lights. Even when I was only four or five, I could tell the make and model of a car as it approached from the opposite direction or visa versa. My mum also told me, that after we had a little crash in our old car one day, she thought I'd be upset and scared, but I was telling everyone about it for weeks after. I thought it was one of the most exciting things that had ever happened! I love most cars fast or slow, convertibles, saloons, hatchbacks or four by four but I do think that some cars drum up about as much enthusiasm as well
a really horrible rainy day and yet others are like a hot sunny day in the warm Caribbean sunshine. I have had lots of practice playing on my Play Station car games and I love driving all around the different tracks on them. I do know what it is like to steer a car as my dad let me sit on his lap while driving a jeep on the beaches in Cyprus. Sensibly he didnt let me go the whole hog and try to work the pedals as I probably wouldnt be here to tell the tale! Five years and one day until I'm 17 and can take my first driving lesson.
