The Inside Lives project, jointly run by BBC Radio Stoke and BBC Staffordshire Online has just won a prestigious Sony Award - one the "Oscars" of the radio world.
Four of us from the team went down to London to accept the award on behalf of listeners to BBC Stoke (left to right) Sarah Harness (Executive Producer - Inside Lives), Mary Fox (Programme Editor & Presenter), Sam Steele (Administrator) & Marie Crook (Inside Lives Producer).
It was a star studded occasion at the Grosvenor hotel - Elton John, Rod Stewart, Midge Ure and Lulu were all there. And Leslie Philips was more than happy to pose for photographs and sign autographs..... Ding Dong!
Inside Lives is all about your stories - and you telling them your way. This award is for everyone who has taken part so far and for all those people out there who still have a story to tell.
