They call me the Monster
Or the Beast,
Because I like the breaks,
And the cakes!
Ill have:
Two steak slices,
One vanilla slice,a chocolate chip cookie
Sometimes two cartons
Of Ribena,
Or just a bottle of Coke.
So Im a nice beast! Its dead nice, looking round here,
As I stand behind the counter
With all the cakes.
From the customers point of view
Its probably not as good
Theres glass between them
And the cakes
But I can see them all.
They look a lot more tempting
From this side. (He gets here on a Saturday,
ten o-clock.
One minute past, hes planning
What hell have for his dinner.
Itll catch up with him, in later life.) At the end of the day
I wrap everything away
Its something of a skill.
In the morning, people complain
They cant get to the cakes,
Ive wrapped them so well.
