The Forsbrook floods

Flooding can affect Forsbrook

Forsbrook

Forsbrook is a small village in the Staffordshire Moorlands which isn't too far away from Cheadle or Blythe Bridge. These days it's a quiet little place which almost lives in the shadow of the other two.

Funky Facts about Forsbrook

The village derives its name from the Old English Fotes-broc - a brook or ditch. Neighbouring Blythe Bridge takes its name from the river of the same name - meaning pleasant and gentle. (With thanks to the webmaster of Forsbrook Online)

Justin Clarke, a teacher at Forsbrook Primary School, was nominated for Teacher of The Year in 2006 (see link on the right).
