Burton Albion coverage

BBC Radio Derby's sports team - with Charles Collins as the Brewers specialist - follow Burton Albion match by match

Great news for Brewers fans!

We're able to offer you the BBC live commentary on Burton Albion's League matches - both home and away!

BBC Radio Derby's Charles Collins, and summariser Tony Bentley, with occasional input from Marc Vesty, follow the Brewers throughout the season and will bring you the action 'live' for each game.
Commentary is ONLY available live; there are no archived pieces.

Commentaries of the Brewers will ALWAYS be on BBC Radio Derby's AM frequency - 1116 kHz (Medium Wave).
On Saturdays - but only if Derby County are NOT playing at the same time - you'll also be able to hear the Brewers on our FM frequencies: 104.5FM, 95.3FM and 96FM.

If you don't have access to a radio, then you can follow the match with our text commentary (see the link below).

What's more - all the post-match interviews & reports, as well as goal highlights in video, will appear later on the Burton Albion match reports & news reports pages (see the links below).

**
Why could you provide Burton commentary online when they were in the Conference, but not now?

Quite simply, the rules for the Conference are different to those for the League, Championship (and the Premiership).

Live commentary from the BBC, for League, Championshiop and Premier League teams (Stoke City, Port Vale, Burton and Crewe Alex), is not permitted on the internet - though you can hear it on the radio.
The one exception is for FA Cup matches.

Live commentary from the BBC for Tamworth FC is only available occasionally.
