Climbing Mount Sinai

BBC Radio Stoke presenter Lamont Howie visited the religious site of Mount Sinai, where Christians believe God spoke to Moses. Listen to his moving description of this journey...

On a recent trip to Egypt, Lamont Howie climbed Mount Sinai where Moses received the 10 commandments from God. The climb lasted four hours travelling through the night, arriving in time to see the sunrise.

Lamont spoke to some of the Christian visitors at the top of Mount Sinai, about the significance of this place, and their feelings as they experienced the sunrise.
