Helen left home for the trek on 12th December
She’s run a 78-mile marathon and she’s kayaked solo down the Amazon, now Helen Skelton talks to us about what it was like to trek 500 miles across Antartica.
The Blue Peter presenter pushed herself to the limit and endured weeks of training, temperatures of -48C, and extreme dehydration in order to reach the South Pole.
Check out the interview to find out what Helen did when she first got home, what she missed the most when she was away and how she was nearly left permanently scarred.
The full documentary on Helen's incredible journey will be shown on Friday 16th March, BBC One, 2030 GMT.
You can also catch up on Helen's epic trek on iPlayer and show her your support by sponsoring Helen.
