After almost two years out of the limelight as he struggled with injury, the 1997 French Open champion came storming back last year.

The 26-year-old won four tournaments, including the Masters series event at Cincinatti, and chalked up victories over Lleyton Hewitt, Andre Agassi and Marat Safin.

Of all the Spaniards, Moya is the most comfortable on hardcourts and indoors, and has proved himself capable of succeeding on the biggest stage.

He will be hopeful of going one better than 1997 when he lost in the final to Pete Sampras, and looks one of the few players capable of consistently troubling the top three.
