Bath have made another addition to their squad, capturing French international tight head prop Alessio Galasso.

The 28-year-old joins from French championship semi-finalists Montferrand, where he has been outstanding since his arrival from Toulouse two years ago.

Bath team director Mike Foley said: "Alessio is a key signing. He has extensive first-class experience both at international and A level for France and is a rare talent.

"Alessio will provide us with experience in a key position."
