Blake makes short move to Bath
Former Bristol scrum-half Ross Blake
Agustin Pichot restricted Blake's game time at Bristol
Bath have completed the signing of Bristol's Scotland Under-21 scrum-half Ross Blake.

The Glasgow-born 22-year-old spent four seasons at the Memorial Ground and captained the club's Under-21 side to two successive league titles.

But his first team outings were limited to just six last season with Argentine international Agustin Pichot the preferred choice in the number nine jersey.

Ross has joined his new team-mates for pre-season training, and is relishing the challenge ahead under Bath coach Michael Foley.

"This is a fresh start for me," Blake said. "I have been with Bristol for four years and felt that the time was right to seek a fresh challenge.

"Bath provides me with the opportunity to develop my game further. I am looking forward to working with Michael Foley and Jack Rowell."
